Rain, Wind, Slush, Sun

I donned my Sub-4 running tights, a Brooks long sleeved technical shirt and my Helly-Hansen rain jacket, and headed out the door into a downpour accompanied by 20mph winds.  There was a patchwork of bare pavement between the street and sidewalks that kept me zigging and zagging, especially when cars were coming!  The result was 5 round trips up and down my street, avoiding the really big hill at the end.  A normal person would probably go crazy with this limited path, but I thought it was a nice reprieve from running on the treadmill.  The rain stopped on my second lap, so I stopped and traded the jacket for a fleece vest.  Perfect!   The Mizuno Breath Thermo gloves continue to amaze me in their ability to keep my hands exactly the right temperature.
